The Normal Closed Unit (i.e. connection is made until rated temperature at which point it is broken)

Working Principle:

Normally closed contact system, which is operated by a snap action of bimetal disc, is sensitive to temperature. When properly applied, protector shuts off the equipment when temperature exceeds maximum safe level due to an overheating condition. It has the plastic case and is convenient to be installed.

Reset Temperatures are 15°± 5° less than activation temperatures. So, for example, for the 25° ± 5° switches the reset temperature is 10° ± 5°. 

Please Take Note: that the metal case is connected to one of the terminals so remember to use the included plastic cover and be very careful if being used with high voltages. This should only be fitted by a trained engineer.
